Swann ready for action

All-rounder Graeme Swann is confident hell be able to play a full part in our 2007 campaign after returning to training from an elbow injury.
The 27-year-old had surgery on the problem in the winter of 2006 but after the injury flared up again at the end of last season, opted for a programme of rest and fitness exercises this time around.

He said: I had a chat with the surgeon and we decided to rest the elbow this time around. I had three months off before Christmas and then got back into training with the rest of the squad around Nottingham.

The problem seems to be a nerve that keeps getting trapped, so Ive been doing different exercises and stretches to try and stop it happening again.

I dont think it will ever be 100 per cent like when I was a kid but we know how to manage it and Im confident about the summer.
