Floodlit ODI for Trent Bridge

Trent Bridge’s proposed new permanent floodlights will be used for the first time next year when the ground hosts South Africa in a floodlit One-day International.

England will play the tourists in Nottingham in the second NatWest Series ODI on Tuesday August 26.

And Nottinghamshire supporters will also be able to greet their captain Stephen Fleming when he leads New Zealand at Trent Bridge for the third and final npower Test from June 5-9.

In a busy summer of internationals, England will then play the Black Caps in a Twenty20 international before a five-game NatWest Series of ODIs.

South Africa arrive for the second half of the summer and will play four npower Test matches, one NatWest International Twenty20 and five NatWest ODIs.
