The Notts Cricket Development department have extended their popular supervised coaching sessions for youngsters, with bookings now open for the New Year.

The programme will run on Saturday mornings in the Woodhead Hall at Trent Bridge, starting on January 5 and running through until April 5, except for February 9 and March 22.

Hour-long sessions will be held for 5-7-year-olds, 8-10-year-olds and 11-13-year-olds under the supervision of fully-qualified coaches.

Coaching begins for 5-7-year-olds at 9am and each session is immediately followed by the next age group.

It costs £60 to sign up for the entire course, with Junior Outlaws members receiving a 10 per cent discount, and although cricket clothing (preferably whites) and non-marking training shoes are required, basic equipment will be provided.

In addition, the ever-popular Test Award schemes will again be running across the county after Christmas, and bookings are now being taken.
