Sidebottom named as Wisden Cricketer of the Year

Winning poster by Patrick Poynton Junior Outlaws member Daniel Poynton has helped to promote the club’s first home fixture of the season after his design was chosen to feature on a poster to be displayed around the region.

The design, which features Notts captain Chris Read and Northants spinner Monty Panesar standing either side of the Friends Provident Trophy, beat off competition from several other Junior Outlaws, four of which won runner-up prizes of a family ticket to see the game at Trent Bridge.

Patrick’s prize also included a family ticket as well as a £30 gift voucher to spend in the club shop and a professionally printed signed copy of the winning poster.

The runners-up were Kaman Atwal, Alex Hackney, William Cherry and Billy Benson:-
