Charlie Shreck and Chris Read were crowned champions when the Notts squad visited Langar Kart and Quad Centre for their Christmas social last  Thursday.

Read took the chequered flag in the 60 minute endurance race, ahead of second-placed finishers Luke Fletcher and Mark Footitt.

Mark Wagh and Kevin Paxton came third with Andy Carter and Paul Franks and Will Jefferson and Samit Patel completing the top five.

“It was excellent fun and it was all about technique and staying out of trouble and we managed to do that and we’ve came away with the silverware,” said Read.

“We got into first place and Shrecky managed to stay there for a long period of time.”
