Middlesex Await In Twenty20 Semi-Final

Essex Eagles will face Kent Spitfires in the first Twenty20 Cup semi-final on finals day at the Rose Bowl on July 26.

The game sees the two Friends Provident Trophy finalists meet ahead of their Lord’s showdown on August 16.

Middlesex Crusaders’ opponents in the second Twenty20 semi are yet to be confirmed with Notts Outlaws and Durham Dynamos yet to arrange a date for their quarter-final clash.

Yorkshire Carnegie were expelled from the competition yesterday for fielding an ineligible player in their Northern Division fixture against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge but have until 5pm today to lodge an appeal.
