Alex Hales won’t feature in Notts Outlaws televised NatWest Pro40 game against Yorkshire Carnegie on Wednesday but should recover to play a role in the LV County Championship game between the two sides.

Hales scored 150 not out against Worcestershire on Saturday but suffered a minor shoulder injury in the process and will be replaced by Scott Newman.

Andrew Carter replaces Charlie Shreck in an otherwise unchanged team with Matt Wood and Ali Brown set to open.

Adult admission for the game at Trent Bridge costs £16 for adults and £8 for under 16s, over 60s and students. Family tickets for two adults and two children cost £40.

Play begins at 4.10pm with live coverage on Sky Sports 1.
