Nottinghamshire (288-5) beat Worcestershire (287-9) by five wickets


A fourth wicket stand of 118 between Scott Elstone (102*) and Graeme White (72) helped Nottinghamshire to secure a valuable trophy victory over Worcestershire.

The pair have shown good form in tandem this season having put on 185 against MCC Young Cricketers. They came together with Notts at 83-3 after 18 overs with White’s departure at 201-4. Sam Wood added 27 from 18 balls and Jake Ball was unbeaten on 22.

Notts had lost Matt Wood and Akhil Patel early on but Bilal Shafayat scored 38 runs.

Pardow top-scored for Worcestershire with 79.
