Darren Pattinson will make his return to competitive action in this afternoon’s Clydesdale Bank 40 match against Durham Dynamos (play starts 1.45pm).

Pattinson has been sidelined with a groin injury but will add impetus to the pace attack. Notts Outlaws are further strengthened by the availability of Samit Patel who missed the LV= County Championship defeat against Durham whilst on England Lions duty.

Harry Gurney misses out with Jake Ball likely to be included leaving Luke Fletcher and Andy Carter vying for a place in the side.

Scott Elstone, the Second Eleven’s form player with the bat, hit an unbeaten 109 for Notts Academy yesterday and will press for inclusion in the middle order.

Trent Bridge will welcome Dave Fulton, the former Kent captain, to host proceedings.
