Samit Patel will return to the Notts Outlaws team to face Somerset in the Clydesdale Bank 40 after hitting a half-century in England Lions' draw against Australia A.

Patel missed the LV= County Championship match at Taunton but will fulfil a vital spin role as Somerset look to produce a pitch to benefit overseas signing Abdur Rehman.

Graeme White, Adam Voges and Riki Wessels provide additional spin options with Harry Gurney left out.
