Bowling figures of 7-33 from Wasim Rana couldn't prevent Notts Academy from earning a winning draw against Plumtree CC in the Notts Premier League.

Solid returns from a Notts top three consisting of Tom Rowe (39), Hassan Azad (42) and Scott Elston (43) underpinned by an unbeaten 38 from Andrew Parkin-Coates contributed to a total of 232 after Plumtree won the toss and fielded.

The visitors could only muster 156/9 though with Adam Tillcock taking 3-33.

The result leaves Notts Academy second in the table, eight points behind Cuckney.
