Notts Outlaws hope to attract a big crowd for David Hussey’s return to Trent Bridge by slashing all ticket prices for their Yorkshire Bank 40 match against Sussex Sharks on Friday 21 June to £1.

All ticket income will be donated to the Trent Bridge Community Trust, the Club’s charitable arm, as the Outlaws look to build on a remarkable start to their Group A campaign which has begun with five consecutive victories.

“We hope that supporters can take advantage of this offer and get behind us in our quest to qualify.” Chris Read

Existing ticket holders will be offered a refund or a ticket to an alternative game and Ticketmaster have agreed to waive transaction fees in support of the Trust.

Hussey will replace his compatriot Ed Cowan in the Nottinghamshire ranks as the Australian opener departs to finalise his preparations for the Investec Ashes Series after this week's LV= County Championship match against Derbyshire.

“We’ve made an excellent start in the competition but only one team from each group is guaranteed a semi-final spot so we need to continue to perform if we are to make progress,” said Notts Outlaws Captain Chris Read.

“David Hussey adds a lot to the side and it’s always a big lift for the dressing room when he’s around.

“We hope that supporters can take advantage of this offer and get behind us in our quest to qualify.”

The Club hope to encourage a good turnout from members whilst also introducing new supporters to Trent Bridge in a big year for the venue.

Tickets for July’s Investec Ashes Test sold out in a matter of hours and a near capacity crowd saw England beat New Zealand in last week’s NatWest Series One Day International.

The 40-over floodlit fixture against Sussex Sharks on Friday 21 June begins at 4.10pm and will conclude around 9.50pm.

Click here to buy tickets for £1. Tickets must be purchased before 4.30pm on Tuesday 18 June from the Trent Bridge Ticket Office, the ticket hotline (0844 8118711) or trentbridge.co.uk

Tickets purchased after the deadline or on the day of the game will be charged at our standard prices (adults £16, under 16s £9, over 65s £9, families (2+2) £41).
