A young Notts Outlaws team cruised to victory over Birmingham Bears in the first fixture of the Barbados T20 Cup.
Academy prospect Luke Wood took three wickets as the Edgbaston outfit were restricted to 109-3, a score sucessfully chased down with three overs to spare as Riki Wessels (38*) and Steven Mullaney (41*) cut loose.
Openers Chris Read (12) and Matt Cross (10) and captain James Taylor (11) were the only wickets to fall as Wessels' six saw Notts post 111/3.
