Trent Bridge is seeking to recruit a team of volunteers to assist in the delivery of England’s cricketing  clashes against India in Nottinghamshire this summer.

A key element of the success of Trent Bridge’s 2013 Ashes test, the Trent Bridge Volunteer Programme has evolved under the cricketeer banner which will see voluntary workforces drafted in to support nine venues this season.

The Volunteers will  be on hand throughout the Investec Test Match against which runs from 9-13 July, and the Royal London One-Day International on Saturday 30 August.

They will work in teams under the guidance of professional staff at Trent Bridge to inform and entertain those who have travelled from all corners of the globe to take in the two contests.

“This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with volunteering at an international cricket venue,” said  Nottinghamshire's Head of Community Sport Tracey Francis.

“Last year our volunteers became central to the colour and excitement of the Trent Bridge Ashes test.

“We’re looking to expand on last year’s efforts and are particularly interested in recruiting multilingual individuals to offer the best experience for fans visiting Nottingham.”

Applicants must be over 18, and the closing date for prospective volunteers is Friday 25 April.
