Should you be visiting us for the match against Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Saturday, this match-day guide contains all the information you need to ensure maximum enjoyment from your day out at Trent Bridge. 

Hours of Play

Gates open at 1:00pm, with start of play scheduled for 2:30pm. The first innings will take place between 2:30pm and 3:45pm, before a fifteen-minute interval. The second innings will then commence from 4:00pm until 5:15pm. In the unfortunate circumstance of any delays, there's provision for 60 minutes of extra time before any overs are lost.

We look to be in for a scorcher of a day at Trent Bridge tomorrow with temperatures reaching highs of 21 degrees for the visit of the Steelbacks.

Ticket Information

Matchday tickets can be purchased from our ticket office on Bridgford Road, situated next to the Trent Bridge Inn pub.

The Ticket Collection Point is situated on Bridgford Road level with the back of the New Stand. Stewards will be on hand to direct you.

Food

A range of outlets, serving local Nottinghamshire food, will be situated at the ground for you to enjoy.

Situated in the Trent Bridge Inn courtyard, Dodson’s Fish & Chips and Gallop Farm Burger & Sausage offer a range of foods for anyone’s taste, including a vegetarian baguette option at the burger units.

The Cricketers Suite, situated on the first floor of the Radcliffe Road Stand, serves warm and cold foods as well as vegetarian and gluten free options.

A number of ice cream outlets are also available, situated in a variety of locations around the ground.

If you still wish to bring your own meals, ensure that any food or soft drinks are in plastic or cardboard containers. On the other hand, it is not permitted to bring any alcohol, cans, glassware or metal cutlery into the ground.

Match Day Activities

If the explosive entertainment of the NatWest T20 Blast isn’t enough, we are also laying on a host of family fun entertainment aimed at maximising the experience for our valued supporters. 

Visit our face painters and bouncy castle, situated via the ticket office near the pavilion where a crèche facility, hosted by fully qualified child minders, is also available for your convenience.

We also offer fun cricket coaching for kids in the Woodhead Indoor Hall at the back of the Hound Road Stand. A session for school years 1-3 will take place from 2pm to 3pm, followed by school years 4-6 from 3pm to 4pm and school years 6-9 from 4pm to 5pm.

Nuts the Squirrel and our Freestyle Entertainers will be around the ground for your entertainment, and the entire Outlaws team will sign autographs shortly after close of play. 

Finally, look out for our in-ground displays of pyrotechnics, as we celebrate Outlaws’ boundaries and wickets with entertaining flashes of colour.

Car Parking

Car Parking for spectators is available on the Bridge Field Car Park on Bridgford Road, a few hundred yards beyond Trent Bridge, priced at £5 (£2 for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Members). Overspill car parking is situated on the Forest Car Park, access of Lady Bay Bridge.

Alex Hales has returned from international duty with England and is set to be reunited at the top of the order with Michael Lumb.

Australia all-rounder Dan Christian is set for a home debut, fast bowler Andrew Carter is included in the 15-man squad and Chris Read returns from injury in place of Brendan Taylor, who is rested having been ever-present in all competitions so far this season.

Travelling By Bicycle

Supporters planning to take their bikes to NatWest T20 Blast fixtures at Trent Bridge will benefit from cycle parking facilities in the Bridge Field on Bridgford Road.

Cricket-loving riders are able to park their bikes at Trent Bridge for LV= County Championship fixtures but sizable crowds in the shortest format have led to the provision of facilities a short distance from the ground.

Bike parking will be available from two hours before scheduled start times until an hour after close of play.

Travelling By Bus

Discounted bus travel has also been secured thanks to a partnership with Nottingham City Transport.

Ticket holders will also be able to travel on Nottingham City Transport buses for £2 when they show a valid match ticket or membership to the driver.

Travelling By Tram

The nearest tram stop, Station Street, is just a 15-minute walk from the ground, and anyone travelling from outside the city can take advantage of NET’s free park and ride facilities.

As an added incentive to take the tram, NET will be running its £2 return event ticket offer for all match and season ticket holders.

To take advantage of the deal, fans need to select the Event Ticket option from the ticket vending machine before boarding the tram, and make sure they have their match or season ticket to hand in case of a ticket inspection.

The £2 Event Ticket will be available for all Notts Outlaws NatWest T20 Blast home games this season.
