Test cricket will return to Trent Bridge on Friday 14 July 2017 when England, back at the scene of their 2015 Investec Ashes triumph, take on South Africa in the second match of the series.

The venue will also host the second Royal London One-Day International between England and the West Indies on Thursday 21 September next year.

Tickets for the matches are yet to go on sale, but supporters can register their interest here to stand the best possible chance of securing seats.

Priority access to tickets will automatically be provided to 2017 Nottinghamshire Members without a registration of interest.

England are unbeaten in their last seven Tests in Nottingham with two Ashes triumphs among their six victories during that period.

Their two most recent white ball fixtures at Trent Bridge brought a record run chase of 350 in victory over New Zealand, and a dramatic last ball tie against Sri Lanka.

The six days of cricket at Trent Bridge feature among a packed summer of international action, as England face South Africa and the West Indies in all three formats as well as two ODIs against Ireland, the ICC Women’s World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Tom Harrison said: “With three different international teams coming here next summer and this country playing host to two major ICC global events – the ICC Champions Trophy and the ICC Women’s World Cup – there will be a feast of international cricket to excite us in England and Wales.

“Both the international and the domestic schedule will have a different shape to previous years. And the early season block for the Royal London One-Day Cup – with a new mid-season date for its Lord’s final – will support both England’s ICC Champions Trophy preparations and our longer term planning for the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019. It will also allow players to focus skills on the white ball game and help more people to understand the structure of the season."

The 2017 fixtures are the latest in a run of international cricket at Trent Bridge which has included Investec Ashes Test Matches in both 2013 and 2015.

The first of the venue’s two 2016 ODIs unfolded before a sell-out crowd last week with Sri Lanka the visitors, and all seats are also taken for England versus Pakistan on Tuesday 30 August.

Trent Bridge will host an Investec Test Match between England and South Africa, and a Royal London One-Day International visit from the West Indies, in 2017.
