Brendan Taylor marked his injury return with a brutal century as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI defeated Lincolnshire Development Squad by 93 runs.

The former Zimbabwe international, batting at number four in the 50-over fixture at Sleaford, scored 107 off 71 balls as the Outlaws posted 305-6 having won the toss and elected to bat.

Billy Root (45 & 2-50) and Brett Hutton (57 & 2-39) then completed impressive all-round performances as Lincolnshire scored 212-8 in reply.

Matt Milnes was the pick of the bowlers with 3-23 from nine overs.
