Nottinghamshire’s Second XI fell short of victory against Warwickshire at Mosely by six runs, despite Jake Libby’s unbeaten half-century.

The hosts posted a score of 187 from 43 overs with Ed Pollock the highest scorer on 40.

Ben Kitt was the pick of the bowlers with figures of four wickets for 37 runs whilst Liam Patterson-White chipped in with 3-44.

Notts made 181 in reply with the final wicket falling in the final over.

An unbeaten 57 from captain Libby was not enough for the visitors as Matt Carter was the second highest scorer with 23.
