Nottinghamshire’s pre-season schedule will feature a two-day friendly against Glamorgan as well as the annual trip to Barbados.
Hampshire and Northamptonshire will provide the county opposition in the Caribbean, with the tour now confirmed to take place from Monday 13 to Friday 24 March.
Upon returning to the UK, the first-class campaign commences immediately with Cambridge MCCU providing the opposition on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 March at Fenner’s.
Nottinghamshire then face Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium in a two-day fixture starting on Sunday 2 April, before the season proper gets underway on Friday 7 April with a Specsavers County Championship fixture against Leicestershire at the Fischer County Ground.

Barbados Pre-Season Tour
The destination for Nottinghamshire’s March pre-season tour has once again been confirmed as the historic cricketing island of Barbados from 13-24 March.
With a One-Day International showdown between the West Indies and England at the Kensington Oval fiyur days prior to the start of Nottinghamshire tour, there’s even more cricketing action for supporters to enjoy whilst soaking up the Caribbean sun.
Notts, under the stewardship of new Head Coach Peter Moores, will face county opposition in Hampshire and Northamptonshire during the tour, including the defence of the Barbados T20 Cup.
As well as a pre-season tour package, options will be available to include the Barbados ODI – and to take the short flight to Antigua for the other two fixtures in the three match series.
