Jake Ball has saluted Nottinghamshire’s ‘loyal’ fans, who have been booking tickets for next Saturday’s Royal London One-Day Cup final  against Surrey in great numbers.

The Club has already sold out its official Supporters’ Coaches to the capacity of 600 for the trip down to the capital.

Ticket sales are now into the thousands, and former Welbeck CC player Ball, who will have friends and family in the stands, is hoping that number will swell further.

“It’s a great day out for everyone, especially the fans, who are really loyal to us over the course of the season. It’s nice to be able to give them a trip out to Lord’s,” said the England seam bowler.

“The more we get down there, the more support, the better it is going to be for us, and hopefully, if we get things right, we’ll be able to celebrate with them after.”
