2025 Annual-report

13 CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S REPORT Chief Executive, Lisa Pursehouse. Lisa provided me with immense professional and personal support during the most challenging of times, and she can be extremely proud of her achievements here. Lisa was passionate about the whole game, and her loyalty to Nottinghamshire never blinkered her contributions to the decisions she faced on ECB working groups, and the time she gave to consider the views of players and clubs alike on behalf of the Professional Cricketers' Association. Lisa – thank you for all that you have done for Nottinghamshire. It's the worst-kept secret in cricket that she will now serve as the Chief Executive of Trent Rockets, and I look forward to supporting her mission. I’d like to welcome our new Chief Executive, Richard Kenyon, to the club. Having spent three months in the interim role, I can attest that he joins us in a winter that is far from typical. Rockets aside, the inbox is crammed and finding clarity amidst complexity will require a team effort. I’ve assured Rich that he will have the total backing of our staff, who will get behind his plans and his style in the same manner as they have for Lisa and I in recent times. Finally, I’d like to add my personal thanks to those that have supported me throughout my time in caretaker control – including the General Committee, who give their time freely to support the governance of our club. My thanks also go to Mick Newell, who continues to lead a thriving cricket operation with a firm hand on the tiller, to Dan Wright, who has led our corporate services and finance functions through a complex Rockets transaction and an intense period of Pavilion funding, and to Joe Sharphouse, who spent the interim period in my permanent position leading our commercial team. Be proud of our club, which is in a commanding position and will continue to rise.
