2025 Annual-report

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB 2025 ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS 14 This integration has enabled us to expand the reach of both ourTrust and recreational cricket initiatives, engage new audiences, and create clearer connections between our cricket programmes and wider work. As a result, the relationship between the Trust and the club has been further strengthened. At the start of the year, we introduced a new strat-egy to guide the vision and direction of our cricket and community programmes through to the end of 2028. Alongside this, we established a refreshed set of organisational values for our team: to be Trustworthy, to Embrace Difference, to remain Open- Minded, and to be Accountable. Our vision is to create inclusive opportunities where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Crucially, theTrust and our Trustees now have responsibility for recreational cricket as one of their charitable purposes, allowing us to streamline all of our programmes under one umbrella,Trent Bridge Community Trust. It allows us to address a number of strategic priorities across the recreational game where we seek to make a positive and lasting impact. We saw another significant year of growth in the women and girls’ game, with an additional nine girls and seven women’s sections established, which now means 41% of our recreational clubs have a women or girls’ section. Providing more competitive opportunities has led to us increasing the numbers of women and girls’ teams by 24. These numbers have exceeded expectations, and we are proud of our dedicated officers, and the volunteers within our clubs, that have made this happen. In 2025, we focused on strengthening the alignment between our recreational cricket activities and our Community Trust under a unified “One Team” approach. MANDY WR I GH T COMMUNI TY REPORT
