NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB 2025 ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS 50 M I NU T E S O F T H E ANNUAL GENERAL MEET ING Held in the Derek Randall Suite and online via video conference on Monday 24 February 2025 Present: Mr AJ Hunt (Chair), members of the General Committee, Ms LJ Pursehouse MBE (Chief Executive), members of staff, 108 members present in the Derek Randall Suite and 101 members on Zoom. The Chair welcomed the members of the club to the meeting, including Cllr Richard Butler (Vice Chair of Nottinghamshire County Council) and Cllr Andy Brown (Mayor of Rushcliffe), who was joining the meeting online. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS AGM (26 FEBRUARY 2024) The Chair preceded discussion of the minutes by explaining that, where possible, proposers and seconders would be taken from within the room (if not, via Zoom using the raised hand functionality). Where required, votes within the room would be combined with votes via Zoom using the polling function which would appear as a pop-up window on the user’s screen. Questions would be taken from those members in the room during the meeting and from those on Zoom using agm@trentbridge.co.uk. Members joining via Zoom had been asked if they wish to submit questions in advance and these would be put to the panel during the relevant item. Members on Zoom could turn on subtitles; instructions on how to do this were included in the invitation issued to those joining online.The AGM would be using a hearing loop in the Derek Randall Suite. The Minutes of the AGM held on Monday 26 February 2024 were unanimously accepted as a true and accurate record on the proposition of Ms Diana Peasey, seconded by Mr Fraser Montgomery. 3. MATTERS ARISING The Chair introduced Andy Lau and Beth Farr who would be holding the roving microphones for the evening. There would be the opportunity to ask questions after each report. He asked if there were any matters arising; there were none. 4. TO RECEIVE THE CHAIR’S REPORT TheTreasurer, Mr Paul Ellis, invited the Chair to present his report to the AGM. Mr Hunt began his report by saying that the past 12 months had once again thrown up their share of challenges on and off the field. On the field, there was a testing season for Nottinghamshire’s men in all formats, despite some personal performances of note – including thousand-run seasons for Haseeb Hameed and Joe Clarke, strong showings with the ball from Dillon Pennington and Lyndon James, and the emergence of Freddie McCann and Farhan Ahmed. Last summer had seen a continuation of the changing of the guard in the dressing room. For the first time in almost two decades, in summer 2025 we would be watching Notting- hamshire sides without the likes
