Graeme White joined Nottinghamshire in 2010 after making eight first class appearances for his previous county, Northamptonshire. The slow-left arm spinner had to wait for an opportunity to add to that tally, making just one championship appearance in his first year at Notts.

2011 saw him feature prominently in the second half of the season with impressive performances coming against Lancashire and Durham. At Southport, against the eventual county champions, he registered his first half-century for his new county – an innings that proved to be the highest score of the contest.

A week later, in the home victory over Durham, he returned 4-72, new career best bowling figures.

Whilst having to wait to make his mark in the championship side Graeme, nevertheless, has impressed in the shorter formats. An agile, athletic fielder, he has taken several outstanding catches in the Twenty20 competition and in CB40 cricket he has picked up one five-wicket haul, away against Scotland.
