Nottinghamshire First Class Debut – 4 June 2010 v Kent (a)

First class opportunities have been limited for Graeme White since he joined Nottinghamshire from Northants in 2010.

With England spinners Graeme Swann and Samit Patel on the county’s books it was always going to be difficult for the slow left-armer but he has acquitted himself well whenever given the chance in red ball cricket, as well as becoming an integral part of the limited overs sides.

Graeme made just one championship appearance in his first year with Notts but featured more prominently in 2011, registering a half century at Southport against Lancs and returning figures of 4-72 at home to Durham.Last summer he played in six first class games, picking up a respectable 15 wickets in the process.

Whilst having to wait to make his mark in the championship side Graeme, nevertheless, has impressed in the shorter formats. An agile, athletic fielder, he has taken several outstanding catches and returned a succession of tidy stints with the ball.

He has best one-day figures of 5-35 in the CB40 against Scotland and is one of only ten Nottinghamshire bowlers to have taken twenty wickets in the t20 competition.
