Nottinghamshire First Class Debut – 4 September 2018 v Yorkshire

Ben Duckett joined Nottinghamshire during the closing weeks of the 2018 season, after beginning his career with Northants.

The hard-hitting top order left-hander appeared on course for a debut century at Trent Bridge, but just came up short after making 80 from 89 balls.

Duckett had played a starring role in helping his former county lift the T20 Blast crown in both 2013 and 2016, scoring a man-of-the-match winning 84 to end Notts’ interest in the semi-final three years ago.

And the southpaw's white-ball expertise was in evidence once more in 2020, with Duckett hitting 340 runs on the way to securing his third - and Notts' second - Blast title.

Duckett hit the winning runs as the Outlaws crushed Surrey in the Edgbaston showpiece, having impressed against the red ball earlier in the truncated campaign with two centuries.

In 2021, Duckett extended his reputation across formats, scoring freely in the Vitality Blast while also totting up Notts' highest score of the season - 177* - against Worcestershire in the County Championship at Trent Bridge

Kent-born Duckett – who can also keep wicket – has also featured at the highest level of the game, appearing in four Tests, three ODIs and one T20I for England.
