Harry Gurney has raised his global profile with some outstanding performances over the past few years.

The former Leicestershire player was instrumental in the Outlaws’ trophy successes in 2017, taking 13 wickets in the Royal London One-Day Cup triumph before playing a starring role in the NatWest T20 Blast campaign.

In that tournament, he was the stand-out bowler, taking 3-19 in the semi-final win over Hampshire before scything through the Birmingham order in the final, collecting figures of 4-17.

Gurney joined Notts ahead of the 2012 campaign and took a championship hat-trick against Sussex at Hove in 2013. He was also a member of the Outlaws side that triumphed in the county’s one-day cup success at Lord’s that year, taking a wicket with his first ball in the final against Glamorgan.

The left-arm fast bowler gained England recognition in 2014, making 10 appearances in One-Day Internationals and another two in the T20 format.

Gurney has enjoyed global limited-overs success, triumphing in the Big Bash, the T10 League, the Pakistan Super League and the Caribbean Premier League. 

The left-armer, renowned for his calmess at the death, has also tasted IPL action with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
