The Trent Rockets Great Teammate Awards are open to grassroots cricket clubs in the UK.
Nominations must be submitted by someone aged 18 or over who has authority to enter on behalf of the cricket club.
The nominated player must:
be under 18 on Sunday 26 July 2026;
currently play for a grassroots junior cricket team; and
have permission from their parent or legal guardian to be nominated.
It is the responsibility of the person submitting the nomination to obtain permission from the nominated player’s parent or legal guardian before entering.
No purchase is necessary.
To enter, clubs must complete the online nomination form and explain why the nominated player is a great teammate.
Nominations should focus on qualities such as supporting others, showing resilience, encouraging teammates, being inclusive and making the club a better place to play cricket. This competition is not about identifying the best cricket player.
Clubs may nominate more than one player, but a separate form must be completed for each nomination.
Entries close at 11.59pm on Sunday 26 July 2026. Entries received after this time may not be considered.
At least three winners will be selected by a judging panel appointed by Trent Rockets, which may include Trent Rockets players.
The judging panel will consider the strength of the nomination and how well it demonstrates that the player is a positive and supportive teammate.
The judging panel’s decision is final.
Each winner will be invited to take part in either:
the coin toss; or
the ceremonial ball delivery
at a Trent Rockets home match at Trent Bridge during the 2026 season.
Trent Rockets will decide which experience and match each winner is allocated. Winners will not be able to choose or exchange their experience or match date.
Each winner will also receive complimentary tickets for members of their junior team and family to attend the allocated match. The number and location of tickets will be determined by Trent Rockets and will be limited to 30 tickets in total and will be subject to availability.
Travel, accommodation, parking, food and other expenses are not included unless confirmed otherwise by Trent Rockets.
Winners must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult at the match.
Winners must be available to attend the match allocated by Trent Rockets. If a winner cannot attend, Trent Rockets may select another winner.
The experience may be changed or cancelled due to weather, fixture changes, safety requirements, broadcast requirements or other circumstances outside Trent Rockets’ control. Where possible, Trent Rockets will offer a suitable alternative.
The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold and there is no cash alternative.
Winners and their guests must follow Trent Bridge’s ticketing terms, ground regulations and instructions from event staff.
Trent Rockets will contact the person who submitted the successful nomination using the details provided on the entry form.
Winners may be required to provide proof of age, eligibility, club authority and parental or legal guardian permission before the prize is confirmed.
Photography and filming may take place at the match. Separate parental or legal guardian consent will be requested before identifiable images or information about a winner are used for promotional purposes.
Personal information will only be used to administer the competition, contact winners and deliver the prize, unless separate consent has been provided for marketing.
Trent Rockets reserves the right to reject incomplete, inappropriate, misleading or ineligible nominations.
Trent Rockets reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
By submitting a nomination, the entrant agrees to these terms and conditions.
The competition is promoted by Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club on behalf of Trent Rockets.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
