Smith Cooper, one of the Midlands’ most progressive firms of accountants and business advisors, support The Trent Bridge Community Trust’s annual flagship apprenticeship programme.

Students are interviewed then appointed to take part in the initiative, which seeks to equip them with the skills required to pursue a career in sports development.

The apprentices deliver coaching at schools and roadshows, as well as assisting the delivery of matchday entertainment at Trent Bridge and contributing to wider community schemes.

The programme has recently been expanded to include Media Apprentices, who are equipped for a prospective future in the marketing & communications industry by generating content for publication, by both Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board.
