Date of birth: 4 September 1996, Brighton, Sussex
Nottinghamshire First-Class Debut: 23 August 2016 v Yorkshire, Scarborough
Having been eased into the Nottinghamshire first team as Chris Read prepared to hang up his gloves, Tom Moores established himself as a mainstay across all formats of the game for nearly a decade.
The punchy left-handed batter and wicketkeeper was a near ever-present in both red and white-ball matches between Read’s retirement and the end of the 2024 season, notching up over 5,000 runs and 300 dismissals.
He has compiled a healthy stash of winner’s medals, too, appearing for the Outlaws in their T20 triumphs in both 2017 and 2020 and forming part of the side which won Division Two of the County Championship in 2022.
Having proved particularly prodigious in the Vitality Blast for the Outlaws, sitting comfortably in the club's top five T20 run-scorers of all time, Moores made the decision to switch to a white-ball only contract ahead of the 2025 campaign.
