Game 1 - Notts 162 (20 overs) beat Lancashire 106-3 (12overs) by 1 run D/L method

Game 2 - Notts 133-6 (20 overs) lost to Lancashire 134-2 (16 overs) by 8 wickets

Notts fielded strong teams for two Twenty20 friendly games at Trent College with varied fortunes as the first game was won by a narrow margin using the D/L method and then Lancashire strolled home in the second match.

Scott Elstone top scored in the first game with 61 from just 37 deliveries including 3 sixes and 5 fours after Ali Brown had given the home side a flying start taking just fifteen balls to score 32.

Run outs accounted for Franks, Cross and Turnbull with Elstone being last out with four balls remaining in the innings.

Rain during the interval meant it was thirty minutes before Lancashire could reply and their target was 108 from 12 overs.

Chilton and Perry came together with the score on 52-3 in the sixth over and were left with 9 to win from the last over bowled by Luke Fletcher. However, he kept them to just seven. They required two from the last ball but Fletcher only conceded a single.

Alex hales (39) and Graeme White (35) top-scored in the second match when Lancashire bowled more accurately to keep Notts to 133-6.

This time, openers Brown and Bentley both scored 25 and from 59-2 in the eighth over, Agathagelou (42) and Chilton (34) steered Lancashire home with four overs remaining.
