Andre Adams was named Nottinghamshire's player of the season for the second successive campaign at Wednesday evening's Gala Dinner at Trent Bridge.

Adams was praised for the consistency of his bowling in the LV= County Championship and several explosive batting cameos.

Alex Hales was named Young Player of the Year with Tom Rowe named as the Most Improved Academy Player.

Guests were entertained by former Kent captain Dave Fulton who served as after dinner speaker with special presentations made to retiring scorer Brian Hewes and departing bowler Charlie Shreck.
