Samit Patel is set for an immediate return to the Nottinghamshire team to face Durham on Thursday following his England debut in Sri Lanka.

Patel has been declared available for all of Nottinghamshire's cricket ahead of the next England selection whilst Graeme Swann has been given the green light to feature in LV= County Championship matches against Lancashire (2-5 May) and Middlesex (9-12 May).

Stuart Broad will also feature for Nottinghamshire in May subject to a satisfactory recovery from the calf injury which has forced his withdrawal from the Indian Premier League.
