Notts Academy were denied the opportunity to press for victory against Caythorpe as rain forced the early abandonment of Saturday’s Notts Premier League match.
The Academy reached 108/4 when rain forced them from the field for the final time thanks to 32 from opener Tom Rowe and 24 not out from Anuj Dal.
Scott Elstone (6), Hassan Azad (8) and Sam Kelsall (21) were the other wickets to fall, Elstone stumped off the bowling off former Notts spinner Jimmy Hindson.
