Featured News | 30th August 2012

Nottinghamshire’s second eleven friendly fell victim to the rain as the final two days of play were lost after a solid opening to the contest.

Yorkshire posted a first innings total of 359 all out before Karl Turner and Neil Edwards batted Notts to 31 without loss at the end of the first day.

Adam Tilcock took 4-62 at Weetwood as Dan Hodgson (92) starred with the bat for Yorkshire. Harry Gurney bowled ten overs to step up his return from injury with a view to inclusion in the LV= County Championship match against Surrey next week.
