Ajmal Shahzad and Ed Cowan have been awarded county caps by Nottinghamshire captain Chris Read.
The players were awarded capped status by virtue of their status as international players.
Cowan made a solid start to his Nottinghamshire career with a first innings fifty in the ongoing match against Middlesex whilst Shahzad removed Chris Rogers to claim his first wicket for the Club.
