Trent Bridge Community Trust figurehead Tracey Francis hopes to raise £5,000 to support young people at risk of social exclusion after committing to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Tracey, the Head of Community Sport at Trent Bridge, will call on supporters attending Sunday’s Royal London One-Day Cup match against Surrey at Trent Bridge to make a donation to the cause.

The highest free-standing mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro presents one of the hardest physical challenges for those brave enough to undertake it.

All gate receipts from Sunday’s game will be donated to the Trust with £1 match tickets on sale until midnight on Saturday. Almost 6,000 tickets have already been sold.

You can support the Trent Bridge Community Trust by buying a £1 ticket for Sunday’s game here, donating online via our JustGiving page or by texting TBCT99 £5 to 70070. To give a different amount, replace £5 with your desired donation.
