The ECB have confirmed that Nottinghamshire & England bowler Stuart Broad will miss the remainder of the domestic season with an ankle injury.

Broad has been managing the injury through the summer, but will need time to recuperate ahead of England's winter campaign, beginning in Bangladesh in October.

England then travel to India, before a white-ball tour of the West Indies in March of 2017, at which point they will return to host the ICC Champions Trophy, as well as series against South Africa & the West Indies.

Trent Bridge will host an Investec Test between England and South Africa, and a Royal London ODI against the West Indies in 2017.
