Ticketing Information

The fixture has sold out in advance, meaning no tickets will be available at the ground on the day.

Hours of Play

Gates open at 12:00pm, with start of play scheduled for 2:00pm. The first innings will take place between 2:00pm and 5:30pm, before a 45-minute interval. The second innings will then commence from 6:15pm until 9:45pm.

In the unfortunate circumstance of any delays, there's provision for 30 minutes of extra time before any overs are lost. The innings break can also be reduced from 45 minutes to 30 minutes if required.

Weather Forecast

Temperatures will reach highs of 20 degrees for England's match against Sri Lanka at Trent Bridge as the forecast suggests that the first game of the Royal London One-Day International series will be dry throughout.

Team News

Alex Hales is likely to open the innings for England on his home ground, continuing his productive partnership at the top of the order with Surrey’s Jason Roy. The Outlaws opener has passed 50 in each of his last five ODI appearances, including one century.

Yorkshire and England batsman Joe Root is hoping for a third successive international century at Trent Bridge having posted three figure scores against New Zealand and Australia at the venue in 2015.

International Eventlink Park & Ride Service

The Eventlink Park and Ride Service will operate for both Royal London One-Day Internationals at Trent Bridge this summer.

Eventlink is a direct bus service run by Notts + Derby which operates approximately every ten minutes from Queen’s Drive Park & Ride Site to Trent Bridge, located just off the A52 on the south side of Nottingham, costing just £5.00 per car for up to a maximum of four people (with a £1 surcharge for over four people).

The service starts at 12pm, running at least every ten minutes until the start of the match at 2pm. Buses will return at 9pm, 9.30pm and regularly from 9.45pm every few minutes until an hour after close of play, with all drop-offs and pick-ups at the ground from outside Sandicliffe Ford on Loughborough Road (within 100 yards of Trent Bridge).

Car parking 

We recommend the council endorsed park & ride options outlined at the link above to people travelling to the match by car.

However, should you wish to find road parking in close proximity to the ground, Victoria Embankment is the location with the most available space - head for the postcode NG2 2JY. 

Travelling By Bicycle

Supporters planning to take their bikes to fixtures at Trent Bridge will benefit from cycle parking facilities in the Bridge Field Car Park, a couple of hundred yards past the ground down Bridgford Road.

Bike parking will be available from two hours before scheduled start times until an hour after close of play.

Travelling By Bus

From the city centre (Market Square, Broadmarsh or train station) No. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 drop off on Bridgford Road. No. 10, 10a drops off on Loughborough Road. No. 11 drops off on Radcliffe Road, all within very close proximity to the ground.

Ticket holders will be able to travel on Nottingham City Transport buses for the discounted price of £2 when they show a valid match ticket or membership to the driver.

Please note this offer is only valid on Nottingham City Transport buses in greater Nottingham, and after 9.30am.

Travelling By Tram

The nearest tram stop, Station Street, is just a 15-minute walk from the ground, and anyone travelling from outside the city can take advantage of NET’s free park and ride facilities.

As an added incentive to take the tram, NET will be running its £2 return event ticket offer for all match ticket holders.

To take advantage of the deal, fans need to select the Event Ticket option from the ticket vending machine before boarding the tram, and make sure they have their match ticket to hand for inspection.

Travelling By Train

Nottingham Station is a 15-minute walk from the ground following signs for West Bridgord, while Taxis and buses to the ground are available outside the station.

East Midlands Trains are improving their service between Nottingham and Lincoln this summer. This service will now run until 10:26pm for any supporters leisurely making their way back to the station following the match.

Travelling By Air

East Midlands Airport – 30 minutes from the ground by car (approx. 13 miles), take the A453 and follow signs for cricket traffic.

Around The Ground

The Trent Bridge Inn Courtyard will, as ever, be a hive of activity throughout the event. As well as playing host to a number of food & drink outlets, this is also the location for the following entertainment stands: The Royal London Cricket Pavilion, the Twelfth Man Fan Van, which is a must visit for all England supporters, Toyota's car showcase and the opportunity to purchase England, Trent Bridge and Notts Outlaws merchandise form our new Club Shop. 

Former England all-rounder Dominic Cork will take part in question & answer sessions, in the Twelfth Man Fan Van, at 1.45pm pre-match and during the interval.

Additional small retail outlets will also be in position in a variety of locations around the ground.

Also, please pay a visit to the charity stands for the Trent Bridge Community Trust, which offers life changing support to disadvantaged young people in Nottinghamshire, and the Broad Appeal for The Motor Neurone Disease Association, both situated on the concourse behind the Smith Cooper Stand.
