Whether it be thwarting alien invasions or oppositions in the NatWest T20 Blast, the Notts Outlaws always aim to entertain in the shortest format.

And with just three days to go until the return of the Blast to Trent Bridge we decided to take a look back over the three videos which have chronicled the Cricket Has Landed journey.

First off Sam Wood, Riki Wessels, Steven Mullaney and Ajmal Shahzad saved the city from a meteor attack in a video which also starred Paralympian Richard Whitehead MBE and members of the Nottingham Panters Ice Hockey team.

Following on from that, Outlaws Origins took a look back at how Steven Mullaney became the hero he was in the modern day.

That teaser to the full second video also included a cameo from Nottinghamshire's very own matchday host and BBC East Midlands Today presenter, Colin Hazelden.

Mullaney the hero was required in the second full video in the trilogy as the Nottinghamshire all-rounder, alongside Wood and Wessels once more, thwarted an alien attack at Trent Bridge.

Using the three facets of the cricketing game, Wood in the field, Mullaney with the ball and Wessels with the bat, the trio destroyed the three aliens that tried to attack the Outlaws' home.

Finally, in Cricket Has Landed 3, which premiered last Friday, the trio who fought off the alien invasion in CHL2 were joined by Jake Ball and preserved the spirit of cricket following an epic battle in Sherwood Forest.

The trilogy of films was concluded with a four-minute production, starring over 100 Outlaws supporters as well as the quartet of players, in which the spirit of cricket is rescued from the clasps of a giant alien, and returned to a euphoric Trent Bridge.
