Brett Hutton reiterated his focus on team results despite collecting his sixth five-wicket haul of the season against Middlesex on day two at Trent Bridge.

His dismissals took him to 60 County Championship wickets for the season, in persuit of Simon Harmer, the current top wicket taker on 61.

It was a gritty performance from the homegrown seamer, who bowled 26 overs on a pitch requiring toil.

Hutton also shared a word on Jake Ball who, along with Samit Patel, was presented with a parting gift from Chair Andy Hunt, Director of Cricket Mick Newell and Chief Executive Lisa Pursehouse at tea for their service to Nottinghamshire in front of appreciative members and supporters.
