Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club has announced that John Pye Auctions have extended their team sponsorship until the conclusion of the 2018 season.

All three of Nottinghamshire’s playing shirts have featured the logo of the UK’s fastest growing independent auction house since the start of the 2015 campaign.

As well as committing to a two-year extension on that original partnership, John Pye have committed additional support to the Club’s Academy and official charity, the Trent Bridge Community Trust.

The shirts worn by the Club’s Academy team have been added to the sponsorship, with the branding opportunity donated back to the Trust, which was founded in 2008 to change the lives of young people throughout Nottinghamshire for the better.

“In our first year as Nottinghamshire’s Team Sponsor, we took particular pride in supporting the excellent work of the Trust, which we’ve seen make such a difference to the lives of young people that really need it,” said John Pye Auctions Managing Director Adam Pye.

“We like to tie in sponsorship deals with just causes, so it’s a privilege being able to support the fabulous charitable work that is taking place within our local communities.

“Add to that a talented and entertaining team that’s competing at the highest level of professional cricket, together with the iconic backdrop of Trent Bridge, and the overall package creates the perfect brand association.

“We’re absolutely delighted with the extended sponsorship, the largest in the Club’s history. It means a lot to be able to create this sort of association with not only an internationally renowned team, but a UK sporting institution from Nottingham.”

A family owned Nottingham business, John Pye & Sons (trading as John Pye Auctions) have become the UK’s fastest growing independent auction house, holding 500 auctions a year across 16 UK sites.

The company has recently officially opened their flagship luxury assets showroom in the heart of Mayfair, London on the prestigious Old Bond Street. This will be the home of viewings for high-end assets including watches, jewellery and gemstones.

“Seeing John Pye’s business go from strength-to-strength during the first year of our partnership has been a heartening success story for us to share,” added Nottinghamshire’s Commercial Director Justin Tose.

“As a company with local roots in the East Midlands, it’s great to see their business expanding nationwide.

“They are a great partner who share our brand values and the desire to see us succeed as a Club.

“With the new Academy shirt sponsorship being added to the existing three, it’s a statement that this desire extends very much to our work in the community through the Trust, as well as on the field of play.”
