Lyndon James feels the change of tempo which arises from moving into match practice has suited his game, after finding himself in the runs and wickets in pre-season.
The Academy graduate, who followed up his unbeaten century against Warwickshire's Second XI with a wicket on day one of Nottinghamshire v Leicestershire, also spoke of how the experience in Notts' roster of all-rounders can aid his performances.
