Working alongside Strenth & Conditioning Coach Liam Price, Bess is responsible for ensuring the Nottinghamshire squad are in shape to withstand the rigours of the domestic campaign.
Bess' playing career, which included appearances for the Second XIs of Somerset, Surrey and Hampshire, was curtailed by injury, compelling the all-rounder to seek alternative employment within the sport.
An S&C internship at Taunton followed, before Bess moved to the Kia Super League side Western Storm.
After a stint in Australian club cricket, which included a somewhat unconventional posting assisting greyhounds with their rehabiliation, Bess took up a position at Oakham School, prior to his arrival at Trent Bridge in 2021.
