Kelly will resume East Midlands representation having appeared for England A in the summer, hitting a 59-ball 89 as Tammy Beaumont’s side cruised to an eight-wicket victory.
The all-rounder previously played for Central Sparks in the women’s domestic set-up, before making the switch to Lightning ahead of the 2022 season, scoring 197 runs and taking six wickets across both formats.
In the same year, Kelly switched allegiance from Birmingham Phoenix to Trent Rockets in The Hundred, appearing four times as the Trent Bridge-based side secured third place in the second edition of the competition.
