Tickets for England’s One Day International against India at Trent Bridge have sold out.

Demand for seats for the fixture, scheduled for Saturday 30 August, made it the quickest selling Anglo-Indian fixture in the ground’s history.

A waiting list has been established here  for those who wish to secure any returned tickets for the match.

Trent Bridge has driven a significant increase in crowds in recent years, with sold out international fixtures underpinned by the biggest domestic twenty20 crowds outside of London.

Attention has now turned to the Investec Test Match between England and India scheduled for mid-July with seats for the first four days of the match becoming increasingly scarce.

“Games against Australia will always be the best selling matches at Trent Bridge but it has become increasingly clear that India are a very close second,” said Trent Bridge Ticket Office Manager Nigel Murray.

“The response from members and ticket buyers has been excellent and we hope that those wishing to watch international cricket at Trent Bridge in 2014 act quickly to secure their seats for our India Test Match.”

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club members can still access ODI tickets in members-only areas and hospitality packages remain on general sale.
