A refreshed schedule for the T20 competition will see six of the Outlaws’ seven home games played on a Friday night or weekend, beginning with a half-term Blast Off double-header involving The Blaze on Friday 31 May (2.30pm/ 6.30pm).

Purchasers for this day will be entitled access to both fixtures.

After hosting Worcestershire Rapids on Thursday 6 June (6.30pm), Notts welcome Lancashire Lightning and Durham to Trent Bridge for weekend fixtures on Sunday 9 June and Saturday 15 June respectively (both 2.30pm).

Derbyshire Falcons then visit for Vitality Blast Rivals Week on Friday 21 June, before another East Midlands neighbour, Leicestershire Foxes, make the short jaunt across the border on Friday 5 July (both 6.30pm).

Birmingham Bears travel to Trent Bridge for the final home game of the season on Sunday 7 July (2.30pm).

“Trent Bridge is an amazing place to play cricket, and it feels like it is at its best on T20 matchdays,” Clarke said.

“I remember Alex Hales giving me my cap when I first joined. He’s someone who has played franchise and international cricket all around the world, but he said you’ll never beat a Friday night here playing for Notts, and I think he’s right.

“You pinch yourself on those days with packed-out crowds and the difference they can make. I’m pretty sure we get the best crowds in the North Group, and even speaking to visiting teams, they enjoy playing here because of the atmosphere that is created.

“You get all ages and people from different backgrounds coming down, and getting an autograph at the end of the game - and that is what it’s all about. As a place to play and call home, it's got a warm feel to it, and I’m really looking forward to leading this group out this year.”
