Head coach of The Blaze and former New Zealand international cricketer, Craig Cumming, is the guest of Nottingham Cricket Lovers’ Society at its next meeting on Thursday 4 December at 7pm.

Craig’s 30-year career in cricket began as a player in New Zealand. An opening bat with Canterbury and Otago, he played over 300 domestic matches and was capped by New Zealand on 24 occasions. He subsequently worked as a commentator on New Zealand television before moving into coaching in the women’s game. He led Otago Sparks to 2 trophies in his 4 years there before moving to England as Head Coach of The Blaze from the start of last season. 

In the first part of the meeting, Paul Harrison, Nottinghamshire Dressing Room Attendant will talk about life in the dressing room, outlining his role in supporting the players and coaches during Notts’ home games and international fixtures at Trent Bridge.

This meeting will take place in the Derek Randall Suite at Trent Bridge at 7pm, with access to the ground through the Hound Road Gate.

Everyone is welcome at meetings of the Society.  

Individual membership of the Society costs £20 per year - £30 for a couple and £5 for juniors.   

Non-members are very welcome to attend an individual meeting at a cost of £10 in cash on the door.
