Notts Outlaws have signed Leicestershire Foxes seamer Sam Wood on a two-week loan deal, covering the next four Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures.

The 21-year-old right-armer will be available for selection from tomorrow’s home match against Warwickshire, at the John Fretwell Centre. Tickets are available here...

Wood has made 19 senior appearances for the Foxes since debuting in all three formats in 2024, and was part of the County Championship Division Two title-winning squad in 2025.

“Sam is a player we’ve admired for a little while, so we’re delighted to welcome him for the next two weeks,” said Paul Franks, Notts’ Head Coach for the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

“He brings us ability with the ball, and will add depth to the squad as we navigate a busy period of 50-over fixtures.”
