Scott Elstone
Scott Elstone signed a full-time two year deal at Trent Bridge in October 2010.
The 21 year old Academy graduate impressed on a summer contract part-funded by the Alan Wheelhouse foundation played club cricket in Melbourne.
“Last season was essentially an extended trial for Scott and he impressed a lot of people when he was around the first team,” said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
“He captained our Notts Premier League team and scored heavily at key times for the second eleven and I’ve seen enough from him to offer him a full-time deal.
“He’s a hard working cricketer and he can become a batting all-rounder with time.”
Elstone averaged 22 with the bat in four Clydesdale Bank 40 innings last season and made a solitary appearance in the Friends Provident t20.
